The creation of this new team adds to those of the Europe Amundi Team in 2021 and the US Amundi Team earlier this year, and demonstrates Amundi's growing commitment to women's golf, since Last year, it became title sponsor for 5 years of the Women's Golf Major at Evian in 2021, renamed The Amundi Evian Championship.

This partnership is part of the Amundi Women Talent Program, which provides financial assistance to promising young female golfers around the world to help them emerge on the international circuit. It resonates with the values ​​of promoting equal opportunities and diversity that have always been supported by Amundi. Among its other key initiatives in favor of women's golf, Amundi is the title sponsor of the Amundi Czech Ladies Challenge and contributed this year to the establishment of the Amundi German Masters, which marks the return to Germany of a women's golf tournament. world-class golf. Amundi also encourages the younger generation of golfers, girls and boys, through the Amundi Young Talent Program.

The seven players are Ruoning Yin, Xiang Sui, Wenbo Liu, Sophie Han and Tiffany Huang from China; Budsabakorn Sukapan from Thailand and Sayaka Takahashi from Japan. These seven athletes have already demonstrated their immense talent and commitment to the sport during their young careers.

  • Xiang Sui, 23, started her golf career at age 7. Second runner-up in the 2015 Wuhan Challenge with the distinction of the best amateur player at the Tour event in Hubei province, she stood out at the China Ladies Professional Golf Association 2021 by winning four victories. Xiang Sui made several top ten finishes in his first professional year.
  • Wenbo Liu, 21, leader of the China LPGA Tour Order of Merit, won the third CLPGA Tour title in 2021. She was the first runner-up on the 2019 Buick LPGA Tour, team bronze medalist and individual silver medalist at the Asian Games from Jakarta Palembang in 2018. Liu qualified for the US Women's Open 2022.
  • Ruoning Yin, 18, is the first female golfer to win three tournaments in a row after turning professional, and she successfully earned her ticket to the Ladies Professional Golf Association 2022. She won 9 championships at the age of 17 years old, including 7 amateurs and 2 juniors. A representative of the Chinese national golf team, Ruoning won a bronze medal at the Asian Games when she was 16 years old.
  • Sophie Han, 15, started playing golf at the age of 7. Over the past 12 months, she has put up impressive performances at major events, such as a 6th place at the China Amateur Golf Tour Finals in January 2022 and a 10th place as the youngest player at the National Games in Shaanxi in September 2021. She participated in the American Junior Golf Association tournaments in the United States this year and will represent Hong Kong in the next Asian Games.
  • Budsabakorn Sukapan, 24, played in the Japan LPGA step-up tours, after turning professional in 2015. Ranked 24th in the Thai LPGA Order of Merit, Budsabakorn has also played in several LPGA tournaments in Thailand and China, as well as at the Korean Women's Open 2022. During her career, she won 8 victories and secured a spot in the upcoming LPGA Tour Qualifying School.
  • Tiffany Huang, 17, has won several women's amateur championships. Starting golf at age 7, she achieved outstanding results at the IMG Academy Junior World Golf Championships, as well as the Annika Sorenstam Invitational and Singapore Ladies Golf Association Amateur Open Golf Championship. In 2022, she won the 44th North & South Amateur Trophy and the qualifying events of the Hangzhou Asian Games 2022.
  • Sayaka Takahashi, 22, started golfing at the age of 10 and won the Japan Women's Amateur Golf Championship in 2016. She became a professional golfer in 2018 to play on the JLPGA Tour. She won the 40th Fujisankei Ladies Classic of the JLPGA Tour in 2022.
