On July 12, 2016, at the World Airline Awards, organized by Skytrax in London, Air France-KLM was once again honored in the world ranking of the 100 best airlines:

• Air France ranks 14th, gaining 26 places over the past three years,
• KLM ranks 24th, gaining 13 places over the past three years.

In addition, Air France was rewarded twice. The restaurant in the La Première lounge and its menu signed by chef Alain Ducasse at Paris-Charles de Gaulle won the prize for “Best catering in the world in a first-class lounge”. The cosmetic bag and the comfort outfit delivered on board the La Première cabins were also awarded "Best first class comfort accessories".

“These distinctions bear witness to the continuous improvement of the services to which we are committed every day to our customers. These awards are dedicated to them as well as to all Air France and KLM staff. They once again salute the efforts of all Group employees to achieve the highest level in the world. " said Jean-Marc Janaillac, Chairman and CEO of Air France-KLM.

Best food in the world in a first class lounge

For the third year in a row, Air France was awarded the prize for “Best catering in the world in a first class lounge”. Its La Première salon at Paris-Charles de Gaulle is once again establishing itself as a world reference thanks to the quality of its service, by offering the best of French haute cuisine. The restaurant thus offers dishes signed Alain Ducasse, as well as the greatest wines of the Air France cellar. A bar is also available to guests, offering a menu of tasty cocktails. A pure moment of relaxation in a true haven of peace.

Best first class comfort accessories

Air France is also on the first step of the podium for its comforts offered on board the La Première cabins: its cosmetic bag in the haute couture spirit by Givenchy and its comfort outfit.

Parisian chic and French elegance, the kits offered to each guest are available through a range of luxurious treatments and exceptional products: face cream, anti-fatigue roll-on for the eyes - intense lift, lip balm, cream for the hands and many other touches. Given by the crew members as a welcome gift, this box sets itself up as a real fashion object. On board La Première cabins, Givenchy make-up removing and moisturizing treatments are also available to everyone at any time of the trip.

High-end comfort outfits, made from the finest cotton, complete the cozy and comfortable spirit of the "haute couture" La Première suite. To enhance this outfit, a comfort kit is also provided. Each of them contains slippers, socks, a shoehorn and a shoe cover.

All of these high-end comfort accessories are updated twice a year.
