Hello Agathe and congratulations! With a score of -10 over three laps, you won the Roissy PGA Open on Saturday, your first victory on the professional circuit. Even if it is not a LET event, it is still an important success in your career, with the manner and in front of some of the best French players ...

I am really happy, any victory is good to take. It also shows that the work I do is going in the right direction ...

What are you working on?

On a lot of things, technically and mentally. I have been doing a lot of work on putting for a year, I am also working on my recovery. Mentally, I'm trying to figure out what kind of player I want to be. I also worked on my ability to hold up under pressure, especially when I'm in a position to win a tournament.

In September, you have completed the 2e and at the 3e place of two tournaments of LETAS, in Switzerland. There, you win with 6 strokes ahead of Astrid Vayson de Pradenne, Anaëlle Carnet and Joanna Klatten. Do you remember having performed so well in your career?

In recent months I can get good scores more often than before. But in the past, there are tournaments where I have played just as well, but on maybe more difficult courses and the scores were lower. I remember for example having scored -15 over 5 laps when I finished 3e European cards, in 2016 I believe.

What was the key to your success at Roissy-en-France?

The wedging and the putting. We had a lot of wedge shots to play and I got close to the flags a lot, which was key on such steep greens, with a lot of targets. I saved a lot of putts for the par too.

The question may seem surprising when you have won by so much margin, but… do you think you could have scored even better?

Maybe, it depends. The last day, we play a bit of match play with his pursuers. I started my first nine holes badly. At one point I was at +2 for the day and Joanna Klatten, who was at -4 for the day, came back to 1 point. So I played more aggressively. If I had had closer daughters at the start of the game, I might have been more offensive from the start ...

How did you find the brand new Roissy-en-France route?

It is a new course, very well maintained. The greens are very fast and roll well for a new course. The roughs are not yet dense enough, which is normal, so it was wide enough for us. But the course defends itself well, especially if it is windy. The very tortuous greens are complicated to play.

At the start of the year, you told us that you were aiming for the world top 400 to be able to play the LPGA * cards. You were 553e at the time, today you are 460e. Is that still your goal?

Yes, this is still the goal, but for next season because the LPGA cards have been canceled this season due to the health crisis.

What is your schedule for the next few weeks?

I will play three tournaments: two in Saudi Arabia, then the LET final in Spain. This winter, I planned to do a lot of physical work to gain distance. The start of the 2021 season is still unclear, but I hope to be able to resume competition in January.
