Four Frenchwomen in major
This week we find the LPGA players for the KPMG Women's PGA Championship. This major tournament will be played at the Congressional Country Club in Bethesda. Four French women will be present in Maryland: Agathe Laisné, Perrine Delacour, Pauline Roussin-Bouchard and Céline Boutier.
The LPGA moves to Maryland this week for the KPMG Women's PGA Championship, the third major of the season. It is Nelly Korda world number 1 2021 who will defend her title there, won last year with a mark of -19. This KPMG Women's PGA Championship was the American's first Grand Slam victory. She then became world number 1.
All of the world's top 5 will be present this week, for this unmissable event on the calendar, with Jin Young Ko, Nelly Korda, Minjee Lee, Lydia Ko and Atthaya Thitikul in order.
The Congressional Country Club, course of 6831 yards, par 72, offers a total endowment of 9 dollars for the third tournament of the grand slam of the season, one of the highest of the PGA Tour.
Inbee Park, the most successful player, alongside Annika Sorenstam, will also be present. They have both won the event three times in a row, the 2013, 2014 and 2015 editions for Inbee Park and the 2003, 2004 and 2005 editions for the Swedish champion.
