What is your favorite route?

By dint of traveling the world, I think I've been asked this question every week since 1990 and the start of my career as a "Golftrotter" ...

Friends, golfers, novices, travel agents and very often journalists have tried to get an answer to this so difficult and irrational question!

Having never been a follower of these rankings that we regularly see blooming in golf magazines, I can however make a list of these golf courses that particularly struck me when we first met.

But why ? And what are my selection criteria?

This is the real question!

Some golfers only trust the course design and look nothing around, others only the maintenance, image, history and many only appreciate a course if they have played it well. !

As far as I am concerned, it is above all the environment, the view and the unforgettable side of these golf courses that I like to describe as “spectacular” courses.

In this book that I was lucky enough to be able to make with my photos, you will discover world-famous golf courses, but also totally unknown courses which should not leave any golfer indifferent.

Sometimes atypical, very often with a view of the water or a grandiose environment, the pleasure they exude is captivating, whether during a game or a photographic walk.

From Europe to Oceania via Asia or Africa, I will take you on a trip around the world of this collection of “favorites” that I had the chance to create for myself in over the years!
