2016, an anniversary year rich in new projects

If in 50 years a lot has been achieved, the evolution of needs, the emergence of new expectations and always the lack of reception places encourage PERCE-NEIGE to continue its mission and to develop new projects.

Transition to Foundation

On May 13, Perce-Neige becomes a recognized public utility foundation. This transformation of the legal status is part of the desire to perpetuate the work initiated by its founder Lino Ventura, while responding to the evolutions of the medico-social sector and the challenges of tomorrow.

Three new establishments!

  • A home for people with Locked-in-Syndrome (LIS) opened its doors in Boulogne-Billancourt (92) during the month of July.
  • Opening of a holiday home in Givrand (Vendée) in May
  • A new home for Elders (Foyer d'Accueil Médicalisé) in Juvigny-sur-Loison (Meuse)

Under the Perce-Neige banner

For a few years, the public authorities have been adjusting the creations of establishments and promoting rapprochements between associations. Recently, two mergers with Perce-Neige have taken place with:

  • The Courbevoie home (Hauts-de-Seine), opened in 1973 by the Courbevoisienne Association for Aid to the Mentally Handicapped.
  • The home of Chardon bleu (Loire-Atlantique), named after the association to which Perce-Neige had provided technical and financial support in the 80s.

'Sun classes' for young autistic children

Perce-Neige wishes to intensify its support for innovative projects such as the 'Sun Classes', kindergarten classes planned to accommodate young autistic children in an ordinary establishment.

#AllWithLino! Personalities have mobilized for the 50th anniversary of Lino Ventura's call
