On September 6, 2014, the Stars of the LPGA mobilize for a good cause and find the Norwegian Suzann Pettersen on her land. Like a mini Solhem Cup, the United States against Europe, the players will compete in the Suzann Challenge Pro at the Golf Club in Oslo. As in previous years, the tournament will raise funds for the Right to Play organization.

Natalie Gulbis, Lexi Thompson, Jessica Korda and Paula Creamer for the USA team, while Sandra Gal (GER), Anna Nordqvist (SWE), Caroline Martens (NOR) and Suzann Pettersen (NOR) will represent Team Europe.

“I know very well all the girls who come to support this noble cause out of generosity and friendship. They will ensure a great show, a great and great golf experience that will raise funds for the Right to Play organization, ”says Suzann Pettersen.

The first Suzann Pro Challenge was held in 2012 with Yani Tseng from former world number 1, Annika Sörenstam and Lorena Ochoa and still Suzann, the last few years the event included names like Marita Engzelius (Symetra Tour), Ai Miyazato, Beatriz Recari, Sandra Gal, Paula Creamer and Jessica Korda, in addition to Yani Tseng and Suzann Pettersen.

The tournament is a collaboration between Suzann Pettersen management, BMW, Thon Hotels, P4, SEB, the Norwegian Golf Federation and Right to Play. The event raised $ 120,000 in 2013.

“I feel incredibly privileged to be able to devote myself to the one thing I love the most. Unfortunately, a lot of people are not so fortunate. So I hope to see the larger public in Bogstad in September, both to watch golf and to support the good work Right To Play is doing all over the world, ”Pettersen says.
