On the occasion of this first round of the Vaudreuil Golf Challenge, the players gave the many spectators who came to the Golf PGA France du Vaudreuil an incredible spectacle. 69 players under par, a leader at (-9) and French more than ever in the game, it was the program of this first day at Vaudreuil.

In this ambient euphoria, three of our French have pulled out of the game and appear in the Top 10: Adrien BERNADET, David BOBROWSKI with a score of 66 and Thomas Linard with a score of 67. The first of them, Adrien BERNADET , finished his first leg in an exceptional way with 5 birdies between holes 5 and 9. He then managed to stay solid on the return with a birdie and a blank card of any bogey. David BOBROWSKI had a more eventful day than his compatriot. 3 bogeys, 6 birdies and above all 1 eagle on 12, give it an ideal position on the eve of the second round. The 3rd of our musketeers of the day, Thomas LINARD, made a copy almost identical to that of Adrien BERNADET with no bogey for 4 birdies. After a second place at Saint Omer, Thomas LINARD confirms his favorite status this week at Vaudreuil.

Despite very good performances, the French do not sit at the top of the leaderboard, the fault in particular to two remarkable performances of the English Robert COLES and the New Zealander Ryan FOX. The second in the Robert COLES standings had a perfect day punctuated by a "canon" return. After a past go with 2 birdies, the Briton continues with 2 new birdies on holes 1 and 2 then 5 and 7 before finishing in apotheosis with an eagle on 8 for a total of 63 (-8).

Long leader this Thursday, Robert COLES was overtaken by a reversing Ryan FOX. Far from being a surprise, the New Zealander was already the favorite and has just struck a blow with a score of 62 (-9) in this first round. Qualified for the British Open, Ryan FOX is in full confidence after having passed the cut and finished 49rd on the Old Course in St Andrews, a benchmark! Everyone will undoubtedly observe his performance tomorrow.

With the weather promising once again to be lenient, new good performances are expected for the second round, so we are expecting many of you to support all these champions! Free entry !
