It was on the Golf de Toulouse Palmola that the grand tour de France of the Challenge Georges Mauduit, a charity competition in favor of the French League against Multiple Sclerosis (LFSEP), ended on October 20, in the presence of its creator. Georges Mauduit and the president of the LFSEP, Dr Olivier Heinzlef, head of the neurology department at the Poissy-Saint-Germain hospital center.

Thanks to the support of the Golf RCF de La Boulie, the Golf de Guerville, the Golf Club de Lyon, the Golf des Vigiers, the Golf du Gouverneur, the Golf de Méribel, the Golf d'Arcangues, the Golf de Valescure, and the Golf of Toulouse-Palmola, who made their superb courses available and opened their doors to outside players, 600 players mobilized to support the fight against Multiple Sclerosis.

With great emotion, Georges Mauduit announced the sum raised this year: 29 for the benefit of the LFSEP. "A huge thank you for your generosity, for giving your time to improve the daily lives of people with this invisible disease, which is one of the leading causes of disability among young people"

Multiple Sclerosis (MS), a chronic autoimmune disease, affects 115 people in France and two out of three patients are unemployed due to their MS and find it difficult to continue their leisure activities and lead a normal life.

Dr. Olivier Heinzlef adds: “There is currently no cure for the disease. One year of support for a research doctor is 30 euros, one year of supportive groups for a dozen patients is 000 euros. So thank you for your commitment. " Thanks to this sum, the LFSEP will be able to pursue its objective of supporting research but also of providing information and listening to patients. The dynamic teams of volunteers, around 50 local correspondents and 41 expert patients, organize actions to bring together people affected by this disease and their loved ones. At the local level, they develop discussion groups and participate in various projects such as the Challenge G. Mauduit but also Handiski days and adapted riding, among others.

The commitment of the faithful partners of the Challenge G. Mauduit Srixon, Cleveland, Golf Herria, Golf Club Makers Bidart, Skimp, Swing Féminin, Hubert Privé, Najeti Hôtel et Golf, Hôtel Le Regina Biarritz, Uff Banque Conseil en gestion du Patrimoine, and the support of the Compagnie des Alpes through the Enduro des 3 Vallées made these nine stages great days of sport and sharing.
