Ideal for multigenerational stays, the villas have been designed by Olga Polizzi - Design Director at Rocco Forte Hotels - as individual private residences, each with its own unique style. The architecture of the villas is inspired by the natural beauty of Sicily and incorporates the characteristic elements that the region is known for: traditional beams, flat roofs, exterior staircases and floor-to-ceiling windows that allow light to illuminate the interiors. They will be decorated in warm tones in harmony with the tuff stone which is typical of construction in the area and which is used as the main material in the villas.

Arranged on two levels and all offering breathtaking views of the Sicilian coast and the Mediterranean Sea, the new villas will have three or four bedrooms. The ground floor of the villas will house a bright living space and fully equipped kitchen, with bedrooms and balconies located on the first floor, with direct access to a private pool. The pool of each villa will be surrounded by a garden, where local plants and shrubs blend into the landscape, with a decorative separation between the spaces.

The decor of the villas will pay homage to the emblems of Sicilian art, such as the gilding of the late Byzantine mosaics of the Palatine Chapel and the perfect geometries that can be seen in the floor of the Cathedral of Monreale, on the island. Olga Polizzi has been able to integrate these influences into recurring patterns for the color palettes and fabrics used inside the villas, while maintaining the uniqueness of each of them. Inside, the use of a system of movable partitions will allow the rooms to be divided while maintaining continuity between the spaces. Outside, the spacious patio will become an additional extension of the villa.

Guests of the new villas at Verdura Resort will be able to benefit from a series of services included in their stay, including: private transfer from Palermo or Trapani airport, check-in directly at the villa, three bikes and two golf carts at exclusive use to move freely around the estate, luggage storage service on arrival and departure, non-alcoholic minibar with a selection of wines and Sicilian delicatessen products and access to the resort's golf courses and to the Verdura Spa. Villa guests will also be able to chat with the dedicated and expert island concierge, “U Canuscituri”. As the resort's local insider, U Canuscituri is able to unravel all the secrets of local life and select the best experiences guests can have on the island.
