Handcrafted in France in the Rhône-Alpes region, the cradle of metallurgical know-how, ValGrine putters are chiseled like real aerodynamic sculptures. On the occasion of the release of a new putter, the Phoenix, meeting with Grégory Moreau, engineer and founder of Maison ValGrine

Interpreter of luxury, ValGrine offers excellence in putter thanks to the unique marriage of master craftsmanship, refined design and cutting-edge technology. ValGrine putters are made of innovative materials whose notable intrinsic qualities are rarity, innovation, lightness and unalterability. These materials are used in fields as diverse as the aerospace industry, aeronautics, formula 1, but also orthopedics and boating. “We are a little bit to golf what Rolls Royce is to cars. We favor tailor-made, exceptional finishes. We develop the senses, sight, touch, hearing, and offer our customers a new experience. This is why we make our exceptional pieces with precious materials, diamonds, platinum, white and yellow gold, but also rare materials such as 300 9 L or 16 L stainless steel, meteorite dust, l 'aircraft aluminum or alloys of brass and gold' underlines Grégory Moreau the founder of ValGrine. From the designer's first trait to the player's swing, ValGrine's putters are more than just objects. They are the fruit of the hard work of meticulous craftsmen, aware of the latest sporting practices. "Specialized workers, often from the traditions of Compagnonnage, who can be proud of having produced putters mixing the rarest steels with innovative raw materials, ensuring lightness, precision and acoustic quality" adds Grégory Moreau.

Domestication of metals

The invoice and the exceptional finishes of the ValGrine putters call on the know-how of the greatest master craftsmen. A high-end quality and rendering that particularly appealed to Raphaël Jacquelin, one of the best players on the European circuit. When the master blacksmith shapes the curve of the putter, the leather worker combines noble materials such as grained calf or crocodile. The master craftsman engraver imprints an eternal and individual imprint on each putter, while the jeweler sets the putter with precious stones. ValGrine exacerbates the notion of pleasure, sublimates an unequaled degree of tolerance, pushes the precision of the game towards supremacy, crossing the paroxysm of luxury. "We often need a thousand operations and hundreds of phases, the help of 18 to 22 different master craftsmen to produce our 150 pieces per year" recalls Grégory Moreau. On the strength of its ancestral know-how and its watchmaking and jewelery precision, Maison ValGrine resolutely takes a new golf perspective and anchors putting in its time.
