Competitions started strong with the unique France-United Kingdom ski & golf challenge Tuesday and Wednesday. The atmosphere was there and "so British"! It was the French players who finally won.

Thursday March 31 was the start of the 4rd edition of the BMW Winter Golf Cup with an original Street Golf course: 7 fun holes on the snow front and in Val Village, designed by the resort's entertainment department and the organization of the event. The opening night of the BMW Winter Golf Cup in Val d'Isère took place the same evening at "La Taverne d'Alsace" with more than 150 people present, including some French personalities such as David Ginola, Nicolas Escudé, Thierry Chassagne, Sébastien Gros, Grégory Havret, Mathieu Bozzetto and Florence Masnada.

The next day, the teams faced off on the beautiful 9-hole course in the Manchet Valley in two rounds in shot-gun. It was the team of professional golfer Benoit Teilleria and journalist Thomas Desson who won in 38 strokes in the gross standings, ahead of Sébastien Gros and Marc Gutenmacher. Third place goes to Sébastien Delagrange and Florence Masnada who finished the course in 36 strokes.

On Friday evening, the players and some VIP guests enjoyed the gala dinner at the "Aigle des Neiges" hotel. The awards ceremony was celebrated on Saturday afternoon at "La Folie Douce", followed by the closing dinner at the high-altitude restaurant "Le Signal".

Finally, on Sunday, took place the free route which allowed beginners and curious to learn the practice of golf.

In short, an event full of joy, good humor and sport that will not fail to set its dates for the 2017 edition as quickly as possible!
