Very popular with professional and amateur golfers, the destination has an impressive number of golf clubs as well as numerous golf events such as the Race to Dubai or the Omega Golf Dubai Ladies Masters.

“Dubai Tourism has chosen to participate in the 2nd edition of this event which brings together the main players in the golf sector. This is an opportunity for our destination to communicate with a quality target, on the range of championship-level golf courses offered by Dubai, but also on the multiple leisure activities, between sea and desert, city and mountain, offered by the destination. And this only 6 hours flight from Paris and under a guaranteed sun. In addition, this year Les Trophées du Golf will take place on December 12, two days after the Omega Golf Dubai Ladies Masters tournament and we hope to be able to congratulate the French players who have achieved great performances there ” explains Pascal Maigniez, Director of the Dubai Tourist Office.

Ten categories will be awarded next December at the 2016 Golf Trophies. If the evening, during which the best moments of the 2016 golf season will be screened, will be punctuated by the revelation of the Golfer and the Golfer of 2016, other Trophies will reward those who have marked golf this season: Hope, Club, Personality, Achievement, Communication and image, Special Jury Prize ...

Note that this year, the Hope and Exploit Trophies, so far mixed, will be differentiated between men and women. Dubai Tourism will award one of these two prizes as it will be the sponsor of the new Dubai Women's Achievement Trophy. On this occasion, the destination will offer a return ticket to Dubai to the awarded player. For the record, it was Alexander Lévy who won the Exploit Trophy in 2015.
