The 12th stage of the 2017 edition of the En route pour 2018 trophy took place at the Hardelot golf course on Friday August 4 and brought together 138 players.

The 54th stage of the 12 edition of the En route pour 2017 trophy organized by Open Golf Club on the magnificent Pines course took place as part of the 2018th Great International Golf Week in Hardelot. And the 138 players were able to appreciate the quality of the ground and the very well prepared greens by Ludovic Hettinger, the new green keeper recently arrived at Hardelot. Well done to the entire team of Ken Strachan, Director of Golf. 3 precision competitions as well as a Ladies' drive competition and a Gentlemen's drive competition enhanced this superb day of sport and conviviality, all under a very beautiful sun!

Each stage is also a qualifying event for a place in the final organized with Christian Cévaër and Mélodie Bourdy on October 21 and 22 at the Golf National on the Albatros course, the course where the 2018 Ryder Cup will take place.

82 gross and net points

Congratulations to the winning teams and in particular to the team of Caroline Moreau and Nicolas Sauvage who won the 1st Net prize with the score of 45 points and to the team of Karl Schuler and Gudmundur Stéfansson who won the 1er Gross price with the score 35 points. And the team qualified for the Final, namely the 1st team to accumulate the Gross and Net scores, with 82 points, 35 in Gross and 47 in Net, this is the team who won the Brut, Karl Schuler (index 8,2) and Gudmundur Stefansson (index 12,7), well done to both! Note that Karl Schuler won his qualification during the 2 edition with another teammate, Didier Beck.

And it is at the Club House of the Dunes course that the awards ceremony took place, moderated by Brigitte Lecocq, the President of the Sports Association, Ken Strachan, the Golf director, Olivier Tahon, Vice-President and President of the sports commission and Hervé Decléty of Open Golf Club. And a large audience was present to know the results and hope to win the many prizes offered by Open Golf Club and its partners Novotel, Henriot, Decayeux Paris, Gras Savoye Berger Simon, Le Figaro Golf, Journal du Golf, Golf Magazine, GolfatHome, Glenfiddich and the Domaine des Remparts in Marrakech.

As a reminder, all those who play one of the eighteen “On the road to 2018” trophies will have the chance to participate in a general draw where 4 Ryder Cup 2018 invitations including one VIP invitation will be offered by Open Golf Club as well as 2 medium-haul Air France tickets. This draw will take place on October 5, 2017.
