The Georges Mauduit Challenge raises awareness of this disease, which affects more than 100 people in France and in particular women and young people, the disease most often occurring between 000 and 20 years of age.

Created by Georges Mauduit, vice world champion in giant slalom in 1966, in memory of three friends international ski champions suffering from Multiple Sclerosis, this fun and friendly competition reminds us that physical activity is beneficial both for health and for the patient morale, and improves the quality of life for patients.

So many athletes continued to face challenges despite their illness. In 2015, more than 25000 euros were raised during the Georges Mauduit Challenge and enabled the French League against MS to participate, among others, in the International Alliance for Research on Progressive Multiple Sclerosis (PMSA), for which it today there is no treatment. This Alliance also allows international coordination of research laboratories in each member country in order to accelerate the arrival of treatments and improve the quality of life of people affected by MS.

Scramble competitions for 2 are open to everyone. The green fees and individual donations from the various events are donated to the French League against Multiple Sclerosis. Sanofi Genzyme, loyal and precious partner, is an actor engaged in multiple sclerosis who will accompany the League on all competitions.
