Solheim Cup 2019: the proposals from Scotland and Sweden screened for the hosting of this flagship event in world women's golf.

The tendering process for applicants to host the Solheim Cup 2019 is coming to an end. The cases of Scotland and Sweden will be closely examined by the organization of the Ladies European Tour, which will scrutinize and analyze each of the proposals and arguments put forward by the two countries. The proposed sites and the installations associated with the places will be visited during September or early October by the LET organization.

The final decision will be taken by the LET evaluation committee at the LET Council on October 29.
The official announcement of the chosen country will be made shortly thereafter.

“We would also like to thank the ten countries who expressed an initial interest in hosting the event in March and who attended the tender seminar at The Buckinghamshire club earlier this year, many of whom have expressed an interest in submit an application for the 2023 edition.
This shows the long-term interest in European women's professional golf and the Solheim Cup ”.

L The Scottish offer, which is supported by the Scottish government and led by the EventScotland team at VisitScotland, which offers to host the world-famous event at Gleneagles, the site of the 2014 Ryder Cup. LThe Swedish offer is the spectacular Bro Hof Slott Golf Club, located about 50km northwest of Stockholm, which hosted the Nordea Masters on the 2015 European Tour also scheduled for 2016.
