Make a date for this prestigious fair organized by Caroline Margeridon and her team, which is celebrating its 33rd edition! It will take place in two majestic 2500m2 pavilions on avenue Foch, from November 28 to December 7, 2015.

20151130_SalonAntiquesArtContemporain_01Since its creation in 1982 in the Ranelagh gardens, the 16th Paris Salon has acquired national fame and is recognized for the seriousness of its organization. The event is regularly renewed to adapt to the perpetual evolution of the Art Market as well as to the tastes and wishes of visitors.

What are the keys to its success and longevity?

A rigorous selection of the exhibitors, who for the majority remained faithful, and the staging of decorative arts of all styles and all eras.

This event has always chosen to satisfy enthusiasts, immersing them in history with the presentation of rare and exceptional pieces or by surprising them with creations by contemporary artists.

For the first time in its history, the show invites you to embark on a completely new artistic adventure, that of the sculptor Sylvain Subervie. In an era shaken by too many conflicts, the artist brings us back to the essential: love and peace. Far from falling into the usual clichés linked to these themes, the artist takes a combative approach, playing on paradoxes, creating an army of warriors for peace.

The Salon had to welcome this project in all majesty and support its radicalism. This is why around fifteen of his sculptures will be exhibited there, forming an alley of honor for visitors. The gallery owner Annie Minet will present the artist's work and philosophy on her stand.

The salon will also welcome the marquetry maker Yves Josnin in an exhibition area at the entrance to the salon. He will reveal his secrets like the evolution of the techniques of this fascinating arts and crafts by presenting multiple wood species and many achievements from the XNUMXth century to the present day.

Since art is escape, let's escape for a visit to this major art market fair on one of the most beautiful avenues in Paris!
