Lacroix said: “I just didn't make any mistakes and that's the key, I think, on this course. Overall, there are some guys who birdied more than me. I stayed consistent and made good shots when I needed them. "

Di Nitti, who signed a 65 card, said: “I didn't ride any bogeys today and finished strong this weekend. Frédéric was very strong today too and he didn't miss a single shot so it was a bit difficult to catch him but I made him look over his shoulder. "

De Roey, who finished with a 70, can be proud of being the only woman on the podium. She said : “I am very satisfied with the week and its progress. Today was not as good as the last few days, but I'm happy to have finished in the top three. Today, I did not make enough birdies and Frédéric played very well. I felt a little nervous at the first start, but then it got better, I enjoyed the day. "

The second-highest ranked woman on the board was Scotland's Laura Murray, who finished tied for 16th, while Spain's Elia Folch finished 21st.

The Saint-Malo Golf Mixed Open will be remembered as a pivotal moment for the two circuits, which hailed the first edition as a great success.
