South Africa Pro-Am: The 2016 Team

For the first time since 2003, it is a completely new combination that was imagined by the organizers, with in order of appearance the courses of Pinnacle Point, Montagu, The Links and Leopard Creek.

This dream association attracted 44 professional and amateur players who lived unforgettable moments throughout the 10 days of this legendary event.

Among these unforgettable memories, let us quote the 2 private planes specially chartered to make the some 2000 kilometers which separate the extreme south of the region from Kruger National Park, the evening organized in the heart of the savannah after a day of exceptional safari in the presence of " BIG 5 ”(Leopard, Lion, Elephant, Buffalo and Rhinoceros) and a closing dinner in the clubhouse of Leopard Creek members to celebrate the award ceremony of this extraordinary edition of Pro-Am from South Africa.

Edition won by the two Julien teams!

Julien Guerrier wins the gross victory with Véronique Forestier, Jean-Claude Forestier and Charles Bonutto, while Julien Clément wins the net with Martine Haladjian, Serge Haladjian and Olivier Masse.

Among the Pros, let us cite the exceptional performance of Jean-Nicolas Billot, author of 6 birdies on the fearsome Links de Fancourt and Julien Clément, who made 19 birdies over 4 laps, including 8 birdies during the 3rd round contested at Leopard Creek!

In 2017, the Pro-Am of South Africa will once again be on the Golfissimes Travel calendar and ideas are sprouting up to make an even new program thanks to the rich tourism and golf of South Africa.
