Materiality of the Invisible, a collective exhibition by NEARCH
Meet at CentQuatre Paris from February 13 to April 30, 2016 for a collective exhibition organized as part of NEARCH, a project half-funded by the European Commission (Culture program), which brings together research structures, universities and cultural institutions . Its objective is to explore and strengthen the relationships that European citizens maintain with archeology and their cultural heritage.
Materiality of the Invisible brings together the works of a dozen artists who draw up a personal, moving and non-exhaustive cartography of man's relationship to his environment, to his history, in particular through a provoked encounter between art and archeology .
An exhibition that follows production residencies carried out as part of the European NEARCH project piloted by Inrap.
Artistic direction : José-Manuel Gonçalvès with the scientific expertise of Inrap
with: Agapanthe (Konné & Mulliez), Hicham Berrada, Ali Cherri, Miranda Creswell, Johann Le Guillerm, Nathalie Joffre, Anish Kapoor, Julie Ramage, Ronny Trocker ...
