Britanny Lincicome retains its title winning for the second year in a row the Pure Silk Classic, reduced this year to 54 holes by the organizers due to strong winds.

Britanny Lincicome wins the PureSilk Bahamas Lpga Classic for the second year in a row, she birdied four on her last five holes including two on 17 and 18 and finished with a very solid 65, ahead of Wei-Ling Hsu by two strokes.
After the organizers made the decision to reduce the restart tournament to 54 holes, thus leaving a chance to finish on Sunday.

The winner completed her second round on Sunday morning, handing in a 67 card. She was two strokes from Shanshan Fang at the start of the final round. Recall that the tournament had been reduced to 54 holes due to violent gusts.

Feng and Amy Yang shared third place, -9, ahead of Danielle Kang. Lexi Thompson, Nelly Korda and Bronte Law were tied for sixth.

Henderson, who was leading when play was suspended due to darkness on Saturday night, handed in a final card of 72 and finished ninth at -9. Her compatriot Alena Sharp, who played 6, finishing 70th.

Brittany Linciome, 32, posted an eighth career gain on the circuit. Last year, she got the better of Thompson.

Céline Herbin and Perrine Delacour (+8), as well as Céline Boutier (+9), just had time to play a few holes in their second round.
