The American managed a last lap of 66 alone on the second step of the podium. The 11-time LPGA winner edged Luke Graboyes and Matt Holuta four strokes in third place. Jon Curran, former PGA Tour professional and Korn Ferry Tour winner, finished in fifth place, while six-time European Tour winner Thomas Levet finished in seventh place.

Kim, who was born in South Korea and raised in Queens, NY, has won an incredible 71 Minor League Golf Tour titles since turning pro in 2007. That includes a return to the final of nine. hits at the start of the year, when he made the very first 59 on the circuit.
