This excellent news should, as a result, benefit the development of world women's golf. LPGA prize pools have increased by 69% since 2021, with strong growth for major tournaments and the CME Group Tour Championship.

Le CME Group Tour Championship, which will close the season in November 2024 at Naples, riding a Florida, will alone offer a check for $4 million to the winner, out of a total of $11 million in prizes. This is the largest prize pool ever awarded in a women's golf tournament.

Among the other new features of the 2024 calendar, we note the appearance of two new tournament titles, including: FM Global Championship à Norton, in the Massachusetts, and the Arizona Championship presented by JTBC à Phoenix, in March. The location of this latter event will be announced at a later date.

The South Korean legend Se Ri Pak will also have its own tournament in the United States, with the Seri Pak LA Open in Palos Verdes. She thus joins Annika Sorenstam and Michelle Wie West as a tournament hostess.

The 2024 schedule will also be easier for players to follow, with less travel across the country. THE LPGA Match Play at Shadow Creek in Las Vegas, will take place in April, before the Chevron Championship nearly Houston. The US Women’s Open à Lancaster, riding a Pennsylvania, will be held at the end of May andAIG Women's British Open à St Andrews, riding a Scotland, will shift to August to adapt to Olympic Games in France.

Qualifying for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games will end after KPMG Women's PGA Championship, on June 24, at Sahalee, in Washington state. The top 15 players in the Rolex World Rankings will automatically qualify for the Games (no more than four players per country) and the remaining spots will be awarded to the highest-ranked players from countries that do not already have two qualified players.

La Solheim cup will also return in September, Robert Trent Jones Golf Club in Gainesville, en Virginia, where the American team will try to end its drought.

The Lotte Championship in Hawaii, will travel for the first time in the fall, following a four-tournament Asian tour. The Lotte endowment will also increase from 2 to 3 million dollars.

Le Volunteers of America in Texas, and the ISPS Handa World Invitational, which brought together men and women, do not appear on the 2024 calendar, as previously announced.

Additional funding increases are expected to be announced in the coming months. Prize pools for major tournaments have increased by 78% since 2021, while those for regular season tournaments have increased by 61%. Players will also benefit from travel bonuses or guaranteed minimum winnings at 19 events next season, including major tournaments.
