Organized on April 4 and 5, 2020 at the Arcangues golf course, near Biarritz, the Drive Your Life Pro-Am aims to raise funds which will make it possible to create and manage a golf school dedicated to the sick, able-bodied and disabled. Robin Roussel, Antoine Rozner and Grégory Bourdy are expected to participate in the event.

It's a great idea that Pierre-Jean Cassagne and Fabien Macagno had here, at the origin of the first Drive Your Life Pro-Am. These two golf enthusiasts, with very different professional activities - the first is a golf trainer, the second lawyer - created in 2019 an academy within the Ibarritz golf course, focused on sports performance and high level. A year later, the two men embarked on a voluntary commitment through the association Drive Your Life, which promotes a life project through golf and wishes to develop handigolf. The event will notably make it possible to raise funds to create the first “adapted golf school” in the Basque Country and more specifically at Arcangues golf course.

For this noble cause, which will take place on April 4 and 5, many pros have mobilized, and not the least. The players of the European Tour Grégory Bourdy, Robin Roussel and Antoine Rozner will be present for the occasion as well as many members of the Challenge Tour and the Alps Tour. During the Pro-Am, several golf events will be organized. A 6-hole Skin Game will see the pros of the European circuit compete against each other, with participants being able to bet on the winner. A clinic will be run by several players, as well as a "Beat the pro" which will allow amateurs to challenge a professional on a par 3 of the course.

Saturday evening will end with a gala dinner and auction, and Sunday with a cocktail party and an award ceremony. A nice weekend in perspective which should prove, once again, that golfers have heart.
