Giovanni, a PGA Level 2 coach, will work under the direction of César Burguière, the Director of Golf, who joined Golf d'Antognolla in November 2017. Born in Udine, northern Italy, Giovanni also spent seven years in the United States, allowing him to perfect his English. He combined golfing know-how with that of winemaking, which will be an important asset for his new role in Umbria, a place renowned for wine and gastronomy.

His experience with the PGA of Great Britain and Ireland gives him an excellent coaching basis and his other interests will also be important assets for Antognolla and the development of the project. After starting his professional career at his home club Udine Golf Club, a member of Villaverde Hotel & Resort, Giovanni worked as a coach in Austria before working for the last two years as a professional coach at PlayGolf London, l one of the UK's busiest golf centers.
