A few hundred meters from the new Sir Seewoosagur Ramgoolam international airport, the Holiday Inn Mauritius Airport (HIMA) is accessible by free 24-hour shuttles and offers a Limousine service which takes customers directly to Port Louis, or to the " Cyber Cité Ebène ”, according to their wishes. This resolutely contemporary 24-star establishment pays particular tribute to the pioneers of aviation. His restaurant was baptized "4", the year of the first landing of an airplane in Mauritius. Built in a green setting in the middle of the large flamboyant typical of the Mauritian coast, customers forget that they are only two minutes from the airport. Perfectly soundproofed, the HIMA is outside the noise pollution zone. On the terrace elegantly bordered by a green wall, they access the outdoor swimming pool and can also join the Fitness Club or relax at the Spa. The decoration of the hotel is in the spirit of the “beach resorts” of Mauritius to ensure a total change of scenery for an evening or for several days. It favors clean forms, comfort and simplicity. The 1933 rooms, including nine suites, combine lagoon blue and shades of green from the sugar cane fields as a reminder of the wonderful surrounding nature. HIMA is nevertheless a real business hotel with its 140 m450 of modular conference rooms, from a simple office to a reception hall for 2 people. It is equipped with all the latest high-tech equipment: HD videoconferencing, free high-speed Wi-Fi, televisions receiving 250 international channels, multiple connections… Customers who choose HIMA, labeled "Green Engage", have the assurance of being in an establishment committed to sustainable development. They are thus helping to reduce the hotel's energy consumption by 30%, thanks in particular to solar energy.

Mauritius, an attractive country for investors

Mon Trésor Airport City, a real "Business Hub", should also attract many foreign investors thanks to the quality of its infrastructure and its particularly favorable tax regime. Not only has Mauritius signed a non-double taxation treaty with around thirty countries including France, but the tax rate on companies and on personal income is capped at 15%. In addition, there is no wealth tax, dividend tax, capital gains and inheritance tax. The repatriation of dividends and capital is not taxed. Mauritius does not require taxpayers to place their money in a local financial institution. Mauritius is a treasure island which obviously has a lot of arguments…
