JW Marriott Hotels & Resorts, a brand of Marriott International Inc. (NASDAQ: MAR), has announced the opening of the JW Marriott Phu Quoc Hotel, Emerald Bay. Located on Vietnam's largest island, Phu Ouoc, this hidden paradise off the southern coast of Vietnam, was designed by award-winning interior designer Bill Bensley and boasts 244 rooms, suites and villas, the perfect place to stay. an escape to an idyllic island. JW Marriott Phu Quoc, Emerald Bay is the brand's second hotel in Vietnam, and joins a portfolio of more than 80 JW Marriott hotels across 25 countries.

JW Marriott Phu Quoc, Emerald Bay offers five restaurants and bars, providing travelers with a wide choice of cuisine. Tempus Fugit (which translates to "time flies") offers authentic Vietnamese cuisine, with contemporary Japanese fare in addition to delicious French classics; French & Co delight lovers of sweets with French pastries and desserts; Red rum offers fresh cuisine based on seafood served by the beach; Pink pearl serves Cantonese cuisine, also by the sea; and Department of Chemistry, offers local “elixirs” with an incredible view of the sumptuous Emerald Bay.

Lamarck Street, inside the resort itself, is a concentration of craft shops and cafes for guests and locals. Every day, it is possible to take part in activities related to martial arts or well-being (boot camp, yoga), such as Vietnamese lantern-making or cooking classes. Excursions to the island are also organized and, for the less adventurous, the hotel's private beach and the three outdoor swimming pools are ideal for relaxing.

The hotel also has a Spa by JW, the new concept created by the brand to demystify and reinvent the “spa experience”.
