Having resumed last week with the Tournament of Champions, the LPGA Tour stops this week at the Boca Rio Golf Club for the GAINBRIDGE LPGA AT BOCA RIO. It's Nelly Korda who will defend her title on this par 72 of 6701 yards.

After having brilliantly obtained her right to play on the LPGA Tour by finishing second in the Q-Series, it is time for Pauline Roussin-Bouchard to take the plunge. The young 21-year-old player was able to pass the stages quickly, after studying at the University of South Carolina. World number 1 amateur in 2020, she turned professional in August 2021 and won the DIDRIKSONS SKAFTO OPEN at the end of August, her second tournament as a pro. Thanks to this victory, she obtained a two-year exemption on the Ladies European Tour and is now a member of the PGA Tour. This GAINBRIDGE LPGA AT BOCA RIO will be his first tournament as a member of the LPGA Tour.

French number 1 Céline Boutier, after a fine fourth place in the Champions Tournament, will also be there. This first good result of the year allowed him to reach a new level: the world top 25. Having ended 2021 in 28th place, she now ranks 25th, her best ranking in the Rolex Rankings.

Pauline Roussin-Bouchard and Céline Boutier will be accompanied by Perrine Delacour. The double winner on the Symetra Tour begins, like Pauline Roussin-Bouchard, her season in Florida. 109th player in the world, this first meeting with a strong field of player is a good opportunity for her to reintegrate the top 100 in the world.

The stars of the LPGA Tour will also be present in Boca Raton with, among others, the sisters Nelly and Jessica Korda, Danielle Kang, winner of the Champions Tournament last week, and In Bee Park, six-time major winner.
