Gainbridge LPGA: Jessica Korda in the lead, Céline Boutier 16th
Thanks to a card of 66, the American Jessica Korda achieved the best score this Thursday during the 1er Gainbridge LPGA tour in Boca Raton, Florida. On the French side, Céline Boutier is 16e at -1 and Perrine Delacour 68e to +3.
Despite the strong wind blowing yesterday in Boca Raton, world No.17 Jessica Korda had an almost perfect first round on Thursday, beating a trio of Yui Kawamoto, Patty Tavatanakit and Sei Young Kim by two strokes. The LPGA circuit continues its Florida journey, a week after the Tournament of Champions, near Orlando. “It's nice to just have to take your car to go from one tournament to another, that doesn't happen very often. I even come back at home in the evening, which is even nicer ", says American Jessica Korda.
