Located above the village of Megève, the 18-hole golf course of the Domaine du Mont d'Arbois is the oldest mountain golf course. Initiated by Noémie de Rothschild in the 20s, it was then redesigned in 1964 by Henry Cotton, a professional golfer. Maintained like a French garden, the golf course is distinguished by its exceptional view from Mont Joly to the Aravis range. Spread over 50 hectares, the course is designed on a plateau and has uniform slopes of 150 meters maximum, at an altitude of 1 meters, which provides a playing comfort that will appeal to golfers. Thanks to management that respects the environment, the fauna and flora are preserved, thus offering a route that blends perfectly into the mountain setting.

The design of the course blends naturally into the decor of the Mont d'Arbois plateau. The 18 holes slightly sloping, 6000 meters in length for a par 72 make it a real "challenge" for both amateur and professional golfers. » says Matthieu Azzolin, director of Golf du Mont d'Arbois.
