Shanshan Feng won the Sime Darby LPGA Malaysia for the second time. The Chinese author of a final 67 (-4) ends at -17. The French Karine Icher thanks to a nice last card in 68 (-3) finished in the top 20 with a total score of 278 (-6).

Shanshan Feng wins here his fifth victory on the LPGA circuit, already victorious at Sime Darby LPGA Malaysia in 2014. Feng (-17) author of a final card of 67 pockets his first victory of the 2016 season, ahead of Suzann Pettersen by three strokes.

Feng started the day with a bogey on the first hole, but recovered well with birdies on two of his first five holes, ending the day with three more birdies on the back nine.

“I feel great,” Feng said. “My feelings here are really very good, especially over the past four years. I have had a fantastic week, every time I come back here I feel right at home. I am really relaxed and I love the crowd supporting me, the food is excellent. So I'm really looking forward to coming back every year ”.

Pettersen finished alone in 2nd place at 14 under par. Defending champion Jessica Korda after a slow start finished strong with a final lap at 70, she shared 12th place.
