And four for Rory McIlroy on the sumptuous Majlis Course at the Emirates Golf Club in Dubai! After 2009, 2015 and 2023, the Northern Irishman won the Hero Dubai Desert Classic title for a fourth time. Although he started ten strokes behind the leaders on Saturday, the four-time major winner assumed his status as favorite over the weekend. With a thunderous 63 (-9) on the moving day, then a 70 (-2) on Sunday, he won with a lead over Polish player Adrian Meronk.

Interviewed after his game, the Northern Irishman admitted that it was a good start to the season, second last week behind Fleetwood and winner this week. He is still working to avoid a few bad shots, left throws which cost him the victory last week at Dubai Creek, or a bogey on his last round on the par 5 of the 13th.

Regardless, it’s a third Rolex Series victory for McIlroy who continues to add to his list of achievements. We can't wait to see him again in a major.

Adrian Meronk put in a great performance this week with a serious game, which was not far from taking him to victory. He finished 2nd at -13, one stroke from victory.

Cameron Young, associated with McIlroy in the last part and leader since the second round, was unable to resist the Northern Irishman. After a difficult day and numerous errors, he finished 3rd at -12.

Antoine Rozner finishes as the best Frenchman with a good final card of 67 (-5): he ranks 16th. Mike Lorenzo-Vera and Romain Langasque finished in 25th position at -3.
