The Magical Kenya Ladies Open kicked off the 2022 Ladies European Tour season and crowned Germany's Esther Henseleit who won by a step ahead. Emma Grechi finished best French in the top 5, seven strokes from victory.

For this first tournament of the year on the Ladies European Tour, five of the eleven French women entered passed the Cut on the Vipingo Ridge course. Our best Frenchwoman during this week in Kenya ranks fifth in the person of Emma Grechi. The victory goes to the German Esther Henseleit, author of a solid weekend with cards of 69 (-3) and 70 (-2). She won with a total of -2, one step ahead of her first pursuer, the Spaniard Marta Sanz Barrio.

Well placed from the start of the tournament with an inaugural card of 70 (-2), Emma Grechi started in the last games on Sunday. Despite a difficult last day having started with a double bogey on hole 1, the player from Bordeaux grabbed the top 5 during this week in Kenya. She scores twice under par on this difficult course and concludes her week with a total of +5. She makes cards of 70-76-71-76.

Charlotte Liautier ranks 16th at +8 for the tournament. After two first rounds in 78 (+6) and 74 (+4), the player from Saint-Nom-La-Bretèche plays under par during the moving day with a 70 (-2). She ends her week with a game in 74 (+2), three bogeys for a birdie.

Agathe Sauzon and Anne-Lise Caudal finished the tournament in 32nd place with a total score of +11.

Anne-Charlotte Mora ranks 42nd at +13 for the tournament.
