The epilogue of the LPGA Tour season, the CME Group Tour Championship is launched. After the first lap, Jeongeun Lee6 is in the lead at -8. She is one step ahead of a group of four players including Céline Boutier.

The LPGA Tour season is about to end in Florida at the Tiburon Golf Club. The sixty best players of the season participate in the last tournament of the year, the CME Group Tour Championship, with an endowment of 5 million dollars. This tournament will be played without a cut and will award the title of best player of the season on the LPGA Tour. Current Race to CME Globe leader and defending champion Jin Young Ko.

After the first lap, Korean Jeongeun Lee6 took the lead with a card of 64 (-8): an almost perfect day with 100% of Fairways and Greens taken in regulation, and eight birdies.

A blow behind her, we find a group of four pursuers including a Frenchwoman: Céline Boutier.

In addition to her good results in Europe, punctuated by a victory at the Lacoste Ladies Open de France, Céline Boutier again won on the LPGA during the Shoprite LPGA Classic, and signed many places of honor during her season. Currently 18th in the Race To CME Globe standings, the Habs started their tournament with a 65 (-7) card, a solid day with seventeen Greens in regulation out of eighteen, and seven birdies.

Jennifer Kupcho, Mina Harigae and Sei Young Kim are also at -7 with Céline Boutier.

The favorites and leaders of the classification remain in contact with the leading players in this CME Group Tour Championship:

  • Jin Young Ko is 25th at -3.
  • Nelly Korda is 6th at -6.
  • Lydia Ko is also 25th at -3.
