20141020_richard_mille_invitational_2Benjamin Hebert 2 & 1 victory:

“I played less well than yesterday, certainly due to fatigue. I was not very comfortable putting the flags were more difficult and sometimes in the shadows. Edouard starts with an eagle at 1, I put an out of bounds ball on the left at 3 to lose the hole. I regain confidence in 7 when Edouard gives me the hole with 3 putts. I do a very nice Par at 8 while entering a cheap lob. A very good drive at 12 for birdie, my first good putt of the game! We both birdie at 17th and I win the game. I am very happy with this end-of-season victory, I will be able to attack the European Circuit calmly ” said Benjamin Hebert.

20141020_richard_mille_invitational_3Benjamin leaves with a Richard Mille watch, the RM 017 Tourbillon Extra Plat in titanium, the first tourbillon in the collection to be fitted with a rectangular case in addition to the € 30.000 prize money awarded to the tournament winner.

F. Calmels, currently 13th in the National Classification, professional since 2006, winner this year of the Schweppes PGA France Grand Prix in the Médoc, two victories on the Challenge Tour in 2013, two victories on the Alps Tour in 2006.

Victory of François Calmels 4 & 2:

20141020_richard_mille_invitational_4“We both played fairly well, there was less stake than the other days. It was a weird game, I would have preferred to play the final! Jeff made a lot of mistakes. The game settled on the return. I birdie at 11, 14 and 15 and win the match at 16. I really enjoyed this tournament, we had a very good reception (all players were invited to stay at the Terre Blanche hotel) and the setting is great. I had a very good week and it was the opportunity to see players from the different circuits (Alps Tour, Challenge Tour, etc.) but also those who live in the provinces while I am in Paris. It's a formula that allows the show and that we are not used to playing, very good date at the end of the season, I will be back with great pleasure next year ”.

Prize: 100.000 € (complete breakdown on www.richardmilleinvitational.fr)

Jacques France, organizer and promoter of the tournament : “We had a very good second edition both at the sporting level, with matches full of twists and a magnificent winner, and in terms of the weather, with summer weather from Wednesday. I thank Richard Mille for his confidence and for the quality of his investment. Match play is a friendly and fun form of play that is greatly appreciated by the players and the public, and we want to maintain it for the third edition ”.
