After starting the day two strokes behind the day's leaders, Jessica Korda, Karolin Lampert, Lina Boqvist and amateur Alexandra O'Laughlin put in another solid lap to finish with a total of 41 under par.

The sun having set in New York, captain J. Korda headed for the lit 17th hole to play the playoff against Sophia Popov. His par was enough to win a second Ladies European Tour title, while Lampert and Boqvist claimed their first victory over LET.

“Honestly, I was praying for the right speed on the green, I wasn't sure how hard I had to play, it was so different from what we did on the lap. It was really difficult ”, Korda said of the playoff.

“It was nice to be able to share that with the team. It's such an individual sport and being able to win as a team is really cool. It was a great experience and we had a lot of fun, being able to pick a player and then we have some great additions. Today we really came together, and it was one of our best days. The first nine holes were tough, but the last six were great. "

Boqvist added: “It was a fantastic week playing with this team - the best memories of my career! "

O'Laughlin explained: “I didn't have the nerves until the last two holes because it felt so real, we were in the team spirit because we kept cheering each other on for every putts. This is pretty much the coolest event I've been to. "
