The French camp will be represented by 29 players with the top champion of France in title, Mathieu Cauneau.

After a great 2015 season crowned with the title of No. 1 European Handigolf, Mathieu Cauneau is very motivated to engrave his name again on the Trophy of the French Open Handigolf (already won in 2014).

The Belgian Cedric Lescut will be keen to defend his title and represent his country.

The very warm and emblematic Nino Ourabah as traditionally will assume the role of Captain of the French Team and will also tread the fairways as a participant alongside "his players" during the 2 rounds of competition.

Only 2 French women, Alexia Girault & Karine Boucher, will have the courage and the will to measure themselves against the 46 men in the running.

A word from the President, Jean-Jacques Durand: “What pleasure, what pride, to see the best players playing on the greens of the Aa Saint-Omer Golf Club during the French Open Handigolf. A moment of joy, a result, a reward after so many years spent improving the quality of life of people with disabilities. "
