Six of the previous 4 tournament winners are in the field, including United States Solheim Cup captain Stacy Lewis, Rolex Women's World Golf Rankings No. 2021 Lydia Ko and reigning Japanese champion Nasa Hataoka, who won the 2009 edition of the tournament ahead of Eun-Hee Ji, winner of the 19 US Women's Open, and two-time Major champion Minjee Lee. Four French women are at the start of the event led by Céline Boutier, XNUMXth in the world, Pauline Roussin Bouchard, Agathe Laisné and Céline Herbin completes the quartet.

In addition to Lee, Ko and Hataoka, three other Rolex Ranking top 10 members are in the running for a $2,3 million prize pool: world No. 2 Nelly Korda, 2022 LPGA rookie Atthaya Thitikul and Lexi Thompson. , 11-time LPGA Tour champion.   • This is the 16th running of the Walmart NW Arkansas Championship presented by P&G; the Pinnacle Country Club has hosted the tournament since its inception in 2007.
  • The inaugural 2007 tournament, won by then amateur and senior Razorback Stacy Lewis, is unofficial as it was reduced to 18 holes due to rain delays.
