Many of the best PGA Tour players of the 2022 season met in the Bahamas this week for the tournament organized by Tiger Woods: the Hero World Challenge. The Tiger, not yet fully able to resume play in competition, did not start the event.

After two rounds of golf, it is the Norwegian Viktor Hovland who dominates the debates with cards of 69 (-3) and 70 (-2) for a total score of -5. However, Viktor Hovland's second day got off to a bad start with two bogeys on his first four holes. The young Ryder Cup player quickly turned things around with a birdie on the five then an eagle on the par 5 of hole 6.

He is suddenly ahead of a group of four pursuers made up of Xander Schauffele, Scottie Scheffler, Cameron Young and Collin Morikawa. Schauffele and Scheffler signed the two best cards of the day with scores of 68 (-4).

Tom Kim, co-leader after the first round, plays in the PAR this Friday, he drops to 6th place.

There is no Cut on the Hero World Challenge, so all 20 players will play over the weekend. Shane Lowry and Corey Conners, although trailing with +7 scores, can still claim overall victory on Sunday night.
