At the end of 15 months of work, with 20 jobs created and an investment of 6 million euros, the Relais Bernard Loiseau has acquired one of the most beautiful spas in Europe.

The Villa is also home to the latest addition to the group's restaurants, Loiseau des Sens, which offers unique cuisine in the “health-pleasure” segment.

With 1500m² dedicated to well-being, Villa Loiseau des Sens stands proudly in the heart of Auxois- Morvan:

  • A spa and a restaurant open to Relais Bernard Loiseau customers, as well as to outsiders.
  • 1 m² devoted to well-being
  • The building rises on 4 levels. The basement with specific technical installations.
  • The garden level with the two multisensory and voluptuous universes.
  • The 1st floor with the treatment cabins and the healing lounge, as well as the Loiseau des Sens restaurant (45 seats) with its own kitchen and whose terrace overlooks the garden.
  • The top floor houses a seminar room and a private spa which offers breathtaking views of the Auxois mountains. Finally, the green roof will soon be hosting hives, the harvested honey of which will be offered in the boutique and served to customers.

A haute couture SPA

The Villa Loiseau des Sens has been designed to offer an unforgettable sensory experience. The latest equipment has been selected for their quality and performance. The spa offers two complementary experiences: a multisensory universe and a voluptuous universe. In the multisensory universe, everything is designed for an intense and diverse stimulation of the 5 senses: phlebological course, draining bench, bubbling beach, aquavelos, Hydronox sofa, massage alcoves, swimming pool, geyser ... The voluptuous universe is conducive to relaxation. relaxation and well-being: the sauna with a view of the garden, the hammams with their associated exfoliation ritual, the experiential shower, the ice fountain, the waterfall bucket, not to mention the sea air cabin. Everything to recharge your batteries in depth.

An exceptional range of treatments

With 10 cabins, including a duo cabin, Villa Loiseau des Sens offers a wide range of treatments allowing all customers to have fun. Developed on the exceptional aromatic and nutritional qualities of Noir de Bourgogne blackcurrant berries, the Secrets de Cassis® range was imagined by Dominique Loiseau. The brand is offered exclusively as well as the signature skincare associated with this range. Other treatments have been selected from the Decléor® ranges for body and face care, and Charme d'Orient® for exfoliation rituals. The spa is also equipped with high-performance equipment such as the Hydromel®, a floating bed for scrubs and algae and mud applications, as well as the Medyjet®, a dry, hands-free hydromassage system. The healing room allows you to prolong the pleasure and enjoy the benefits of the treatments provided in an atmosphere full of zen.

A unique “health and pleasure” cuisine

In the kitchen, stimulating the senses is also a priority. Pleasure the eyes first by discovering the places, imagined by the interior architecture firm Bruno Borrione and Mariana Casagrande which prominently installed reproductions of The Lady with Unicorn, famous allegory of the 5 senses, echoing the genesis of the project. The Loiseau des Sens restaurant is positioned on the daring niche of healthy and tasty cuisine to preserve gourmet pleasure. Most of the products are organic and local, selected from producers and breeders in the region. The juice bar, the vegetarian menu or the organic wine list have all kinds of taste surprises. Veggie, healthy, locavore ... The cuisine offered by chef Ito Shoro is above all surprisingly delicate: (organic) brook trout Crisenon, (organic) guinea fowl from the Bilouterie farm & spelled stew, cucumber and avocado velouté organic, (organic) lamb from Lemoine farm.

Chef Shoto Ito has the maneuver

The young chef has already worked in the Loiseau Group. "I seek to touch the senses, so that the customer keeps in mind the pleasure of a beautiful moment of tasting". With pastry chef Rudy Yiu, they are developing an innovative menu that is part of the overall “well-being” experience offered at La Villa Loiseau des Sens.

A project well inscribed in its environment

From the creation of the biomass boiler (€ 800 invested) to the technical choices made, the Bernard Loiseau Group is building for the future: energy autonomy, short supply chains, treatment of the ozone basins… This is the firm of “Claude Correia” architecture by Saulieu who was the prime contractor for this contemporary building, whose Morvan Douglas-fir cladding and oak staircase make it perfectly integrated into the Relais & Châteaux garden. No less than 000 local and regional companies took part in the project. Project management was carried out internally by Dominique Loiseau and its general manager Ahlame Buisard, in order to ensure that the spirit of Bernard Loiseau is respected in every detail.

Pratical information

  • The Spa is accessible to hotel guests and outsiders, 7 days a week, from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. Free access if booking a treatment. Access without treatment, unlimited duration: € 19 / person, € 45 for hotel guests.
  • The Loiseau des Sens restaurant is open from Tuesday to Saturday, from 12 p.m. to 14 p.m. and from 19 p.m. to 22 p.m. Menus from 32 to 59 €, excluding drinks.
  • The 5-star hotel at Relais Bernard Loiseau is open 7 days a week.
  • The gourmet restaurant is open from Thursday to Monday, closed Tuesday and Wednesday.
