Can you tell us about your magnificent domain?

Terre Blanche is a 5-star resort, unique in Europe. Located just 45 minutes from Nice airport and 35 minutes from Cannes, it also has a private helipad. It is made up of a 5-star hotel, affiliated with the prestigious collection The Leading Hotels of the World. With its 115 suites and villas, its majestic spa, its 4 restaurants including a Michelin star, but also its Kids' Club, Terre Blanche is an exceptional destination between Provence and the Côte d'Azur. Its two 18-hole championship golf courses affiliated with the European Tour Destination and its world-class training center labeled European Tour Performance Institute, make our domain a true paradise for golfers.

What is the typology of your clientele?

Our clientele is mainly European (France, UK, Germany, Switzerland, Scandinavia) and North American.

Can you tell us more about the new Terre Blanche Spa card?

Terre Blanche Spa has expanded its range of treatments this year, in particular by offering a new VALMONT "Alpine Purity" facial treatment, suitable for young skin, as well as a new oxygen supplement, optimizing the effect of various facial treatments. Two new massages have also appeared: the Balinese massage as well as a new signature massage with aromatic pouches, with relaxing and energizing effects, obtained thanks to the combination of the plants used. As for fitness, it is a very broad and daily program which is now offered to customers, whether they are members of Terre Blanche Spa, customers of Terre Blanche Hotel and or even external customers who come to take fitness classes, cadio, core training, aquafitness, Pilates etc.

With its two 18-hole courses, what is the specificity of Terre Blanche golf?

The specificity of our golf lies in the fact that we can offer two 18-hole championship courses, but also a unique training center, labeled European Tour Performance Institute. The Biomecaswing center, unique in Europe, is directed by Jean-Jacques Rivet of the Golf Academy, who just opened its doors last January. Therefore, we offer a complete offer combining pleasure and performance in one place.

On the golf side, can you tell us more about the launch of the Academy?

The Terre Blanche Golf Academy was born out of a desire to master teaching. It is the logical continuation of an approach undertaken since the creation of the Albatros Golf Performance and the desire to create a true center of excellence. Terre Blanche Golf Academy is aimed at players of all levels, from beginners to professionals. The main novelty is the high level initiation which is now offered across the campus, intended for amateur players who already have a very good level. Many are eager to move up a gear in order to fully immerse themselves in the practice of golf for 4 to 10 weeks and thus achieve their goal.

We therefore wanted to add sporting virtues to the quality and reputation of our resort, as well as to our know-how in terms of organizing sporting events. It is also a question of proposing an education starting at the base, by the school golf, then the golf school, the amateur team Elite Terre Blanche until the high level campus pro and amateur.

What tournaments and events do you organize on site, especially for golfers?

The main women's competition taking place at Terre Blanche is the Terre Blanche Ladies Open. It is now one of the major stages of the LET Access Series, of which we are the instigators, promoters and organizers. From April 5 to 7, it brought together for its 4th edition no less than 120 players of around twenty nationalities on our private course Le Riou. Apart from this major event, we organize various public and private competitions throughout the year. This year we will also have the honor of hosting the Gounouilhou Trophy from April 25 to May 1, on the Le Château course, bringing together the 16 best amateur teams in France, including our own 1st Men's team.

How are your two real estate programs evolving for those who want to live here?

Very positively, we are seeing a certain dynamic and we continue to welcome new owners every year.

What are your plans for 2019-2020 as well as the next renovations to come?

This winter, we made a number of renovations, like every year, with the constant concern of reducing our impact on the environment. Significant investments are made. In May 2019, we are also going to carry out a large-scale operation: the conversion of the flora of our two golf courses (turf bermuda grass). This in order to reduce our water consumption, but also the use of phytosanitary products, while guaranteeing the best gaming sensations. We will therefore alternately close our courses for 15 days each in order to leave our members and customers the possibility of playing during this period. Finally, following the obtaining of the silver label issued by the French Golf Federation and the National Museum of Natural History, we will continue to develop biodiversity around our courses, for an ever more "green" golf course ...
