In 2016, Haotong picked up his first victory on the circuit by winning the Volvo China Open, before claiming arguably the biggest victory of his career at the Omega Dubai Desert Classic 2018, where he beat his colleague from the TaylorMade team, Rory McIlroy, in a thrilling finale. This victory in Dubai earned him a place in the history books, becoming the first Chinese male golfer to break into the top 50 of the Official World Golf Rankings.

In the 2020 PGA Championship, Haotong held a two-shot lead after two rounds, becoming the first Chinese player to hold a lead or joint lead after one round in a major championship. It was also his first 36-hole lead/co-lead on the PGA Tour. Li started his 2022 PGA Tour season with a T12 at the Sony Open in Hawaii and already has two top 10 finishes on the DP World Tour, armed with a full bag of TaylorMade gear.

Haotong is no stranger to TaylorMade gear and this year sees the return of the two-time Tour winner to the TaylorMade team.

Haotong will use their Stealth Plus Carbonwood driver, fairways and P-7MC irons. He will continue to test TaylorMade putters and golf balls as he transitions to TaylorMade equipment.
