The sixth edition of the Danielle Downey Credit Union Classic was reduced to 36 holes after a night and a day of rain that made the course unplayable. Emma Broze (Nervieux, France), who held a one-stroke lead after two rounds, was named the winner, securing her first victory on the Symetra Tour.

"I cannot thank the staff enough for all the work they have done this week to allow us to play 36 holes", said Emma Broze. “I wish we could play more, but I'm happy to get my first win. Thanks also to Rochester for being such great supporters all week. It was great to have you here and Mike Vadala for putting on a great tournament. "

Two-time Symetra Tour champion Rachel Rohanna (Marianna, Pensylvania) achieved her best score of the season, finishing second at -7. Lilia Vu (Fountain Valley, Calif.), Min A Yoon (Seoul, People's Republic of China) and Allison Emrey (Charlotte, NC) are tied for third at -6.

Play was suspended before the players began their third round. The Symetra Tour has been monitoring weather conditions throughout the day and the course conditions have never improved to the point where play can resume. The forecast for Sunday still calls for rain and thunderstorms in surrounding areas.
