The Golf Hub was inaugurated in a ceremony by Masters champion and victorious European Ryder Cup player Sergio Garcia, who visited his junior academy at the PGA Catalunya Resort like every year.

The upgraded academy features 10 covered bays built into Toptracer Range technology, which provides instant replays and shots as well as statistics about your swing on interactive game screens, while offering a range of games and modes suitable for all ages and levels. Players can take on the world in a long drive competition, play up close to the Pin with their friends, dive into advanced swing analysis and play virtually on some of the world's greatest courses.

The European Tour Destination is also the first site in Spain to install the GEARS Golf System - a body and club tracking system used by PGA professionals, fitters and club manufacturers around the world to measure and analyze every nuance of a swing, in addition to the latest version of Trackman.
