It's done: Scottie Scheffler puts on his second green jacket after a week full of mastery on the Augusta fairways. At 27, Scheffler is the best player in the world and continues to assert his domination of world golf. Matthieu Pavon produced a superb performance for his first at Augusta: he finished 12th. Tiger Woods finishes 60th last in the cut.

Relentless, impressive, incredible: superlatives are lacking to describe the game that Scottie Scheffler produces. At 27, the American puts on his second green jacket and raises his throne of world golf a little higher. Winner of the Players a few weeks ago, he succeeded Tiger Woods by winning the title at Sawgrass and the Masters the same year.

Leader at the start of the last lap, Scottie Scheffler resisted the attacks of his friends at the start of the game. His contenders then suffered the law of the amen corner, gradually eliminating themselves from the title race. At the same time, Scheffler chained birdies at 13, 14 then 16 to serenely move towards victory.

His runner-up is ultimately Swedish in the person of Ludvig Åberg. For his first Masters which was neither more nor less than his first major tournament, Åberg was impressive in his maturity. Despite a few errors, the Swede who turned pro less than a year ago, chained together brilliant shots and birdies to finish alone in second, four shots behind Scheffler.

In tied 3rd position, we find the opponents of the world number 1 in the last rounds Collin Morikawa and Max Homa accompanied by Tommy Fleetwood. The Englishman produced a very solid game of golf over the weekend, particularly on Sunday where he returned a card of 69 (-3). We remind you that Fleetwood is still chasing his first major victory, he who has numerous places of honor.

Successful week for Matthieu Pavon's first at the masters tournament. Well placed all week, the Bordeaux player held on in each round to finish in 12th place. With this new good result, he grabs new places in the world rankings and is now just outside the top 20, in 22nd position. This 12th place qualifies him for the 2025 edition of the Masters and writes a new page in French golf: it is the best performance by a tricolor in Georgia.

Tough weekend for Tiger Woods. After once again writing his name in the Masters record book by making a 24th consecutive cut, the Tiger suffered and finally finished last in the cut at +16 total.
