What a last day for German player Patricia Isabel Schmidt. Party at -5 on the last lap, Schmidt begins his game with two bogeys on his first five holes, before chaining the birdies. She scores 66 (-6) this Sunday and wins the Belgian Ladies Open ahead of Chiara Noja (GER) and Maria Hernandez (ESP). Agathe Sauzon and Charlotte Liautier finish 6th!

What a finish from the German player Patricia Isabel Schmidt! Starting at -5 three shots from the lead on the last lap, Schmidt began her game with a bogey at 3 then a new bogey at 5. The trend was quickly reversed as she scored four consecutive birdies from 6 to 9, two new birdies on 12 and 13 then a superb eagle on par 5 of 14.

Schmidt ends her day in 66 (-6) and her week at -11, two strokes ahead of her first pursuers. She therefore lifted her first trophy on the Ladies European Tour with this victory in Belgium.

Maria Hernandez leader at the start of the last lap finished second. The Spaniard plays 71 (-1) insufficient for the victory this Sunday. Chiara Noja finished at the same mark of -9 as the Spaniard for a second place finish.

Nice finish from our French ladies this Sunday! Agathe Sauzon slams a last card of 67 (-5) this Sunday to move up to 6th place! Charlotte Liautier plays 70 (-2) on this last round to also finish sixth. It's a nice top 10 in Belgium for our two French girls. Camille Chevalier also dropped the horses this Sunday with a card of 66 (-6) which allows him to sign a top 20: 16th at -3 total.

Manon De Roey who validated her ticket for Pebble Beach qualifying, finished best Belgian alongside our French in sixth place.

Emma Spitz, Alice Hewson also leave with an invitation to US Womens Open qualifiers.
