Raphaël Jacquelin in the spotlight at the 2024 Côte d'Opale Pro Am
Former French n°1 Raphaël Jacquelin was at the start of the Le Touquet course last April, during the 31e edition of the biggest Pro Am on the Opal Coast.
There were once again many of them (376) to pitch their tee, mid-April, for the 31ste Pro Am de la Côte d'Opale, created and organized by Christophe Cantegrel. On Wednesday, participants were even able to cross swords on a simulator with Raphaël Jacquelin, during the awards ceremony organized each evening at the Palais des Congrès in Le Touquet. The next day, one of the best French golfers in history took on the La Mer course in Le Touquet, where the great Ballesteros once left his mark on the French Open of another century. Antoine Bachelier's team at the top
Played this year in chilly and windy conditions, the largest Pro Am in Europe won both Gross and Net – a notable performance – the team of Antoine Bachelier (with A. Lozach, D. Benoit and G. Benoit ) at the end of the four days of competition. Among the Pros, the Belgian Arthur Van Elewyck and the Touraine Adrien Pinguet, winners tied at -6, were able to best tame the elements on the magnificent courses of Hardelot, Wimereux, Le Touquet and Belle Dune.
