The “G Le3” series from PING, the revolutionary range designed exclusively for women.

PING G Le3: the revolutionary women’s series

PING G Le3 women's series

The commitment to continuing to design lighter, easier to play, better quality clubs is rooted in PING's history, supporting women's golf since the early 70s.

« It started with my grandparents, Karsten and Louise Solheim and continues today with the Solheim Cup said Stacey Pauwels, vice president of PING, who oversees the development of PING products designed exclusively for women.».

“The G Le3 family offers a complete line of custom-made clubs designed for performance that offer increased distance, unmatched forgiveness and a great sound,” highlighted Stacey Pauwels. “When developing the range, we also made gapping (the distance between each club) a top priority to ensure women get the best possible results. It starts with a meeting with a PING approved fitting specialist to determine the ideal set composition and specifications, based largely on swing speed. We are confident that once the right configuration is found, women will get significant benefits from every club in their bag.

“We are excited to bring this technology to players. With the growth of women's golf and its unprecedented spike in popularity with a new generation of golfers, we look forward to helping them lower their scores and have more fun on the course. »

A full-fledged identity

In addition to its score-reducing technology, the G Le3 Series stands out with its navy, gold and silver color combination, creating a premium, high-performance appeal for women who want to have fun on the course.

Driver optimized for swing speeds less than or equal to 80 mph

The high MOI G Le3 driver is designed with lighter shafts and grips to help golfers with slower swing speeds enjoy longer, more powerful shots off the tee to reach the fairway. To do this, PING engineers have

developed a 460cc titanium head with a forged face optimized to achieve the best results with swing speeds of 3 mph or lower.

Key elements like center of gravity and moment of inertia are optimized largely through a fixed weight at the rear of the club head. The center of gravity is lower, at the back and slightly to the side of the heel. This allows for more ball speed and higher launch with less dispersion without compromising the famous forgiveness of PING drivers.

Crown turbulators and Vortec cavity provide the aerodynamics and efficiency needed to make the G Le3 the longest PING women's driver to date, delivering more speed as well as distance gains of nearly three meters .

The Trajectory Tuning 2.0 hosel is lightweight and allows you to adjust the loft of 11,5⁰ by plus or minus 1,5⁰ and up to 3⁰ flatter in order to provide the ideal ball trajectory.

Designed to increase ball speed and deliver a higher launch, the G Le3 stainless steel heads are combined with a maraging steel face to optimize flex while reducing spin. Each loft allows you to achieve the desired distance on the course, including from the tee. The lower, more forward center of gravity aligns better with the force line to provide 6 meters more distance than its predecessor.

The face is designed with Spinsistency technology. The variable clubface curvature helps improve clubface performance especially on shots hit low on the face, reducing spin to increase ball speed off the clubface.

Available in 3, 5,7, 9 and 2.0 woods, these high MOI fairway woods feature adjustable loft and lie using the Trajectory Tuning XNUMX hosel. This gives fitters and golfers additional leverage to achieve optimal results.

Lightweight, easy-to-play irons

Continuing the success of previous generations of the PING women's line, the G Le3 is comprised of irons and hybrids. This allows golfers to create the ideal combo with optimal gapping to achieve better results.

On stainless steel irons, ball speed is increased through a lower center of gravity position and reworked lofts, resulting in measurable and predictable distance gains across the entire set. The forgiveness of each PING iron is achieved thanks to a thinner face which positions the mass at the bottom of the club. High-density masses in the heel and toe help provide increased forgiveness and lighter balancing, making them easier to play.

Available from 6 iron to 9 iron with three wedge options (PW, UW, SW), the G Le3 irons and wedges also benefit from a PurFlex cavity badge. This multi-material badge provides more face flex, a softer touch and a pleasant sound. The new soles improve interaction with the ground and regularity of impact to minimize scratching.

For the sand wedge, PING engineers applied the proven design of the iconic EYE2 sand wedge while bringing a modern touch to the G Le3 model. Her

Thinner hosel, wider sole and more traditional head shape, combined with machined grooves provide more confidence when hitting difficult shots.

During tests carried out by PING players, golfers admitted a significant improvement in their shots. The results are a ball that hits closer to the hole and fewer shots that don't come out of the bunker. The pitching wedge and gap wedges also feature these grooves for more control.

Hybrids to bridge distance gaps

The transition between iron and hybrid is facilitated by a new progression in length. Each of the four hybrid options is half an inch longer to provide a consistent distance gap between each club. Available in 4, 5, 6 and 7, G Le3 hybrids have volume and shape that inspire confidence while providing more distance and a high launch to hit more greens.

Like fairway woods, hybrids also feature a maraging steel face which provides more distance and ball speed through increased clubface flex. The face profile is optimized for swing speed, providing consistent spin especially on shots hit high on the face. The three points located on the crown promote alignment. The middle point is slightly larger for easier setup and hitting straight shots.

Lighter shafts, grips and balancing

The ULT250 Lite and Ultra Lite PING graphite shafts are the standard shafts on G Le3 woods and irons to reduce overall club weight while helping generate more club speed and higher launch. The Lamkin ST Soft grip is available in two sizes (Red -1/32″, Aqua -1/64″).

A new putter design that pays homage to Louise Solheim

Technology and player preferences were key factors in developing the G Le3 line of putters. The result is four distinct models inspired by PING's reputation as a leader in performance putter design.

All four models are designed with a two-piece white Pebax elastomer insert, consisting of a soft front with shallow PLD-inspired grooves and a firmer rear to ensure an optimal combination of feel, forgiveness and control of distance.

The Anser's iconic design delivers the performance that made it the winningest putter in history. In addition to a full-surface insert, it features a sight line located at the bottom of the cavity for easy alignment.

A new design pays homage to Louise Solheim. Known simply as "Louise", it is a half-mallet that takes the shape and weight of the PING DS72 which has already proven itself on the tour. It is nevertheless different by its wider hosel and its shaft without curvatures to best adapt to the strong arc type movement. It also has an insert on the entire face and an alignment mark located on the bottom of the cavity to make aiming easier.

To further improve the quality of high-MOI, easy-to-align mallets, PING putter designers have evolved two popular and proven models – the Fetch and the Ketsch.

The Fetch, equipped with an insert on the entire face, is best suited to a straight movement thanks to its double curvature shaft. The slate PVD finish contrasts with the white insert and bullet-width alignment marks for easy installation. It is possible to pick up the ball with the underside of the putter without having to bend over thanks to the volume of the head which allows the ball to be retrieved directly from the hole.

The Ketsch G continues PING's strategy of offering women a premium multi-material design with maximum forgiveness. Like previous Ketsch models, it combines a fully machined 6061 aluminum body with a stainless steel sole to maximize moment of inertia and position the center of gravity for greater precision and consistency. Its ball-width insert matches the alignment marks on the top of the putter and centers on a top line that extends to the back of the putter.

The four putter models are offered with the new PP59 pistol grip specific to the G Le3 which is distinguished by a polyurethane cover offering a better feel and a high-end appearance.
