The final tournament of the PGA Tour regular season has delivered its verdict on whether or not the players qualify for the FedEx Cup playoffs. Between joy and disappointment, the emotions of the players were shared for this last chance tournament on the American circuit.

Unfortunately, this is the end of the adventure for our only Frenchman on the PGA Tour: Paul Barjon. This missed Cut at the Wyndham Championship destroyed his chances of survival on the highest American division. He had a top 10 finish that season, starring for the win on The American Express. The rest of his season was more difficult, his second best result being a 31st place at the 3M Open. He finally finished 172nd in this FedEx ranking, insufficient to qualify for the Playoffs, even with the exclusion of players who had left for the LIV.

The explosion of joy this weekend was for Korean Joohyung Kim. Invited to several PGA Tour tournaments thanks to good performances in Asia, this young 20-year-old player did not miss the boat this week. He had however started his week in the worst possible way with a quadruple bogey on the first hole of his tournament. The rest of the event went much better for him as he won the tournament with a total of -20 and five moves ahead. It is especially important to remember the fiery first leg signed by Kim on Sunday: 27 (-8) on his first nine holes. He won his first victory on the PGA Tour and at only 20 years old is "already" 21st player in the world.

Rickie Fowler is saved! Having missed the Cut suddenly this weekend in North Carolina, the former world number 4 was scared but finally got his ticket to the FedEx St. Jude Championship. It is Tony Finau who will defend his title there.
