The first “Aramco” tournament takes place this week in Riyadh in Saudi Arabia and it is the 24-year-old Thai Patty Tavatanakit who leads after two rounds. With a total of -8, 66 (-6) and 70 (-2), Tavatanakit is two shots ahead of this Aramco Saudi Ladies International Presented By PIF over the Danish Nicole Broch Estrup and the Belgian Manon De Roey.

Just behind them, we find a group of four players including Léona Maguire, who had a great day of golf on this second round. Having opened his tournament with a card of 76 (+4), Maguire scored 64 (-8) this Friday having taken all the greens in regulation, 18/18. She replaces herself with this beautiful 4-move card from the Thai leader

Two French women will play this weekend at the Riyadh Golf Club. Céline Herbin and Emma Grechi made the cut and were ranked 36th and 46th respectively. Too bad for Céline Herbin who fell significantly in the rankings after a score of 75 (+3). She was 8th after her first round with a nice card of 70 (-2) at the start of the tournament.

Pauline Roussin-Bouchard came close to playing this weekend. With a total of +4 and one shot too many, the young French player almost won a place for this weekend.
